 Electronic training course is a basic object of the extra-mural training system and represents
the package of educational services.
The extra-mural training system shall help solve the following : - Arranging a training process at a distance and/or independent knowledge check.
- Arranging knowledge check via Internet and within Intranet corporate network.
- Establishing a distributed education network intended for large audiences.
The extra-mural training provides use of innovation teaching aids in training process, that are based on computer and telecommunication technologies.
The extra-mural training (EMT) is one of the forms to get educated. For the time being, the extra-mural training at the Russian Rail Public Corporation is arranged on the basis of networking technologies.
Intranet corporate network and Internet are used both to provide the trainees with study guides (electronic forms), and to ensure interactive cooperation between teacher and trainee, as well as between trainees within a group.
Information exchange between participants of the training process is carried out by way of the following telecommunication aids : forum, chat, e-mail. At the moment, the specialists of ZhelDorAutomation Scientific Production Association Limited Liability Company have worked out an electronic training course for operations staff engaged in traffic service of the Russian Rail Public Corporation on ‘Actions to be taken by station duty officer in extraordinary situations and in emergencies’. The said course is posted in the corporate training portal of the Russian Rail Public Corporation (main computer centre server).
They have developed training courses on the following subjects:
- Trailing of points and crossing;
- Loss of control over points and crossing in absence of trains;
- Loss of control over points and crossing under passing train (train has already vacated points and crossing);
- Loss of control over points and crossing under passing train (train has not vacated points and crossing yet);
- False occupation of point separated section;
- Impossibility of power thrown switch operation from electric interlocking control panel;
- Impossibility of power thrown switch operation with the aid of a crank handle;
- Arrival of a locomotive intended for a train to be made up to the station;
- Impossibility to open outgoing traffic lights upon correctly set heading and free (according to directors) arrival track;
- Contingency warning signals output;
- Kicks in transit;
- Assignment of window to execute trackworks on double-track station-to-station block;
- Procedure for registration, making, distribution and storage of stop blocks;
- Devices of interlock points and crossing. Maintenance and operation;
- Major rules to fasten rolling-stock and malfunctions of stop blocks;
- Auxiliary change of automatic block system direction in case of false occupancy of a single track span in sections with central interlocking control and with no duty officers available at the stations;
- Auxiliary change of automatic block system direction in case of false occupancy of a single track span in sections with central interlocking control and with passive duty of a duty officer at the stations.
The electronic courses are designed for arranging technical training of operations staff in transport service according to the requirements of the following specialties: - train dispatcher
- station duty officer
- fleet duty officer
- train maker-up
In order to perform the telegram of CZ Lemeshko V.G. ¹ 21209 dd. 15.12.08 it is necessary to provide program, schedule of taking training courses by employees of traffic service within the extra-mural training system of the Russian Rail Public Corporation, and also biographical particulars to each potential student of the electronic course. |
