 In 2008 we worked out a new computer-aided training system CATS-DM, based on CATS-D graphical shell. This new training system uses, in its operation, MySQL database management system that allow ensuring high reliability of its operation and speed of data transmission.
CATS-DM contains all basic information that is used in CATS-D, and it is also is added with some new documents for employees of commercial services in the field of goods transportation:
- Job description of accepting employee;
- Rules to accept cargos for transportation by rail transport;
- Rules to seal vans and containers of rail transport;
- Technical specifications to stow and fasten cargos in vans and containers;
- Standard instruction for crane-operators (engineers) to make safe operation of bridge cranes and frame cranes;
- Standard instruction for strappers to execute safe works by lifting machines;
- Instruction on official claim work in the network of railways in the states – members of the Commonwealth, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia;
- Rules to make commercial inspection of trains and vans.
By this time the system has already been included around one thousand questions on the said above documents, and we make development of non-typical situations and create electronic manual – guide in html format.
